Women in Technology Scholarships

Am I Eligible?

 

Detailed Eligibility Criteria:

  • Women in Technology Scholarship

    Students may apply for a Women in Technology Scholarship if they:

    1. are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, Convention refugees, or Protected Persons living in Canada;
    2. self-identify as a woman;
    3. are enrolled in full-time studies at a public post-secondary institution in British Columbia;
    4. are completing an undergraduate degree, diploma, or certificate program in the fields of computer/data science, physics, engineering, and/or mathematics, with at least one year remaining in their program;
    5. have completed a minimum one year of post-secondary studies;
    6. have achieved a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA); and
    7. have not previously received a Women in Technology Scholarship.

  • Indigenous Women in Technology Scholarship

    Students may apply for a Women in Technology Scholarship if they:

    1. are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, Convention refugees, or Protected Persons living in Canada;
    2. are First Nations (Status or Non-Status), Inuit or Métis;
    3. self-identify as a woman;
    4. are enrolled in full-time studies at a public post-secondary institution in British Columbia;
    5. are completing an undergraduate degree, diploma, or certificate program in the fields of computer/data science, physics, engineering, and/or mathematics, with at least one year remaining in their program;
    6. have completed a minimum one year of post-secondary studies;
    7. have achieved a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA); and
    8. have not previously received a Women in Technology Scholarship.
